Parents & youth are invited to join our Noodle Night on Sat 9/30 at 5:30-7:30 pm in the church basement. Please bring a noodle dish (spaghetti? chow fun? rice noodle? thin noodle? fat noodle? dumplings? with meat? with vegetables?… whatever you love to share and eat). If you have questions, please contact your grade’s YPA representative (see YPA page)

Come meet the counselors and other families. Also, please download and complete a Student Update form to update contact information and parent permission.

You probably can think of “THAT guy”… the apathetic one who steals the joy out of life… the high-maintenance one that sucks out all your energy with obsessive compulsive habits… the obnoxious insensitive one… you know, the jerk. Maybe it’s someone in your small group… or maybe it’s YOU?

Come to ALIVE this Friday 9/29 to explore God’s Word and power to transform each of our “ugly” tendencies to become a community of accepting brothers and sisters in Christ. We are committed to mutual accountability and edification of all imperfect people!

Plan to arrive at CBCGB earlier. There will be a parking crunch on Friday 9/15, due to the evangelistic meeting by the Chinese Ministry. Make efforts to carpool and/or park at Stride Rite.
Class of 2010, you’ve done a great job remembering your ID code from your dog tags. Remember to wear them. Any frosh who still needs one can ask Welcome & Care team leaders (Ying-Ying, Ann and Andrew) for a tag.

• No Sunday School today (free block)
• Jr Worship will be at 9:30-10:50 am
• Incoming 5th graders should go to Jr Worship
• Chinese Worship at 9:30, English Worship at 11:15 am
• Sr High youths may volunteer (if needed) with Mustardseed, Nursery or Children Worship during 1st free block
• Jr High youths may volunteer to assist Pastor Sandy with kids during 2nd free block
