We actively serve in the community and out of church to demonstrate our concern and God’s love to the needy. These activities may include visiting shelters and nursing homes, distributing food and blankets in downtown Boston or doing lawn work, etc. We may hold fund-raisers, to benefit world hunger or protest genocide or assist our church / community when a specific labor need arises.
Mission Projects
Emphasis: cross-cultural outreach and follow-up ministry
Activities: extensive program design, gospel presentations and evangelism, community service, strengthen host church, Bible teaching, prayer and financial support-raising, short-term missionary living
We are committed to do our part to fulfill the Great Commission. Our mission team members endure an extensive process of selection, training, preparation, execution and debriefing - gaining a foretaste of the career missionary experience. We encourage parents to share leadership in our family mission model and churchwide mission mobilization through becoming our active prayer and financial supporters. We pray that some career missionaries and Kingdom changers will rise out of these teams.
We currently have mission partnerships with host organizations and churches in:
- Boston (The Boston Project Ministries)
- Various U.S. locations (YouthWorks)
- ErShui, Taiwan (ErShui Junior High School, ErShui Presbyterian Church)
- The Hopi Reservation (Kykotsmovi Mennonite Church, First Mesa Baptist Church, Hopi Christian Camp Meeting)
