CBCGB Children’s Rooms Usage Policy

Affected Rooms 107, 108, 113, 114, 120, 121, 124

Effective Date: May 21, 2011

  1. Reservations.  In keeping with CBCGB general room use policy, all rooms including Room 107, 108, 113, 114, 120, 121, 124 require reservations for use.  All reservations can be made through the CBCGB church office by emailing Ruth Lu <rlu@cbcgb.org>.
  2. Friday night & Sunday morning usage.  Room usage for Friday night & Sunday morning time slots will be preassigned annually in August of each year or as needed by key stakeholders.  These stakeholders include Nursery, Mustard Seed, AWANA, Children’s Pastor, and Board of Deacons.  Please refer to the CBCBG Room Usage document to see current room assignments.
  3. Keys.  A key to the rooms listed above will be made available to CBCGB office staff, AWANA Commander, AWANA Secretary, Mustard Seed coordinator(s), and Nursery coordinator(s).  Any individual with a CBCGB master key will also be able to unlock/lock these rooms.
  4. Guidelines of Room Usage
  1. Lock all doors to rooms after use to prevent unauthorized entry
  2. All rooms must be restored to the same condition it was found.  At minimum, please perform the following tasks:
  1. put all toys away in bins and cabinets as found
  2. restore all books to shelves as found
  3. stack/replace chairs to room
  4. replace all tables to original location
  5. wipe down counters, if needed
  6. sweep or mop floors/mats, if needed
  7. restore tv settings, if tv available.
  1. The specific rooms listed below have additional guidelines
  1. Room 107 - none.
  2. Room 108 - none.
  3. Room 113 - For women and children under 5 years of age ONLY.  Used primarily for nursing women.
  4. Room 114 - For children under 3 years old only.  Reservation of this room will also require the approval of the Nursery Coordinators and the Board of Deacons. No outdoors shoes are allowed in this room.  
  5. Room 120 - none.
  6. Room 121 - none.
  7. Room 124 - none.
  1. Responsibility/Enforcement. All users of the rooms listed in this document are expected to follow the policies outlined above.  If a policy has not been followed, please inform Ruth Lu at the CBCGB office.  The Children’s Pastor and members of the Board of Deacons will work with Ruth to ensure fair usage of the rooms.
