The missions committee has approved the establishment of a "craft and bakery booth" to be set up in the church foyer during Missions and Social Concerns weekend (November 7-9). It would be similar to a booth you might find at a craft fair or holiday shopping night, but 100% of the proceeds will go to the Missions Fund instead of the vendors. In addition, there will be opportunities to write cards to the many missionaries we support.
We need lots of contributions for this table to be successful. You could donate any item or handicraft (jewelry, fabric gifts, hand-made stationery, pieces of art, ceramics, framed photographs, hair barrettes, baked goods, etc.) Don't craft or bake?? We also need people to monitor the table on Friday night, Saturday afternoon and night, and Sunday morning.
