CBCGB is a North American Chinese Christian Church based in Lexington, MA. The Children’s Ministry is thriving with approximately 200 kids attending each week (Nursery to Grade 5). CBCGB has an opening for a Children’s Minister position (can be pastoral or director level).
The following characteristics are required:
- Fluency in English (understanding Mandarin is a plus)
- Experience in Children’s Ministry
- Good administrative skills to coordinate personnel, space, and resources
- Willingness and ability to communicate with parents
- Ability to develop visions and values in collaboration with leadership team
- Ability to provide consistency to the Children’s Ministry
The following characteristics are pluses but are not required
- Training or degree in seminary or childhood education
- Experience in creating curriculum
- Experience in training teachers, empowering parents, and equipping leaders
- Experience with children with special needs
