  • Chaw-Bing Chang

    Brother Chaw-Bing Chang was born in Sichuan, China and grew up in Taiwan. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior during his sophomore year at Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan and was baptized at Tainan Baptist Church. He came to State University of New York at Buffalo for graduate study where he met his wife Kia-Ling. They were members of Buffalo Chinese Christian Student Fellowship and Chaw-Bing served as a deacon at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Buffalo, NY. They moved to Boston in the fall of 1974 and have been with CBCGB since. During his spiritual formation, Chaw-Bing benefited greatly from the teachings of Pastors Chiu (焦源濂), Lee (李秀全), and Chuang (莊祖鯤). Believing that serving is participation, Chaw-Bing served in a variety of church ministries including choir, worship, missions, transportation, property, kitchen, stewardship council, youth group, college fellowship (Inter-collegiate Christian Fellowship), Zion fellowship, and Sunday school. He is currently active in teaching, pulpit translation, and preaching. Chaw-Bing served as a deacon for many years and as chair of the board of deacons for four years. He was installed as an elder in 2002. Motivated by the Lord’s great commission to lead people to Christ and make them disciples, Chaw-Bing and Kia-Ling joined the MIT campus Bible Study Group in 2003 with the goal of reaching out to Mandarin speaking Chinese intellectuals around the Boston area. CBCGB established the City Outreach Ministry (COM) to expand student and scholar’s ministry in the metropolitan area under Pastor Ju-Ta Pan’s leadership. Chaw-Bing’s involvement in the COM includes fellowship counseling, teaching, preaching, and participation in COM’s Planning Group activities. Chaw-Bing’s professional career has been with MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He has authored and co-authored more than 70 articles and research reports and a book entitled “Applied State Estimation and Association”, published by MIT Press in 2016. This book is in the process of being translated into Chinese. Chaw-Bing and Kia-Ling are parents of two daughters, Karen and Connie. Karen is married to Berhan Yeh with three children, Kaitlyn, Brandon, and Karynna.

     

  • Yuguang He

    Brother Yuguang He came from Changchun, Jilin, China. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior in 1993 and was baptized in Rhode Island Chinese Christian Church in June 1994. During 1994-1997, he participated and served in the student fellowship at UConn. His family moved to Boston in June 1997 and has been attending CBCGB even since. In year 2001 he was accepted as a church member. He served on the Board of Deacons for six years during 2003-2010 and on the Board of Elders from 2014 till present, coordinating evangelistic and spiritual revival meetings, assisting pastoral staff in fellowship leader/ disciple training, and leading the stewardship committee, overseeing mission committee, social concern committee, and spiritual formation committee. Yuguang has served in various committees such as deacon nomination committees, pastoral staff search committees, and church bylaw review committee. He had many years of experience in teaching adult Sunday school, EE visitation, and teaching children’s program such as POINEER and AWANA, and also participated and coordinated overseas short-term missions. He had served the Berean Fellowship and Andover Saturday outreach bible study group for many years, and in 2013 joined the Salt&Light Fellowship, and also started serving Quincy fellowship and supporting Green Olive Fellowship. Yuguang has married to wife Jie Chen for 28 years, and they together have raised a son, Leon. Jie accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord in 1991 and was baptized in the same year. Leon accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord and was baptized in CBCGB in 2010.

     

  • Paul Huang (Chair)

    Bother Paul Huang is from Taipei, Taiwan. He received his baptism from Zhi-Lan Christian Church in Taipei, Taiwan in 1986. In 1994, he came to the United States for his graduate study and received Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in 1999. During his graduate study, he also co-founded the Chinese Christian Fellowship at Ole Miss, which was the only campus evangelization organization for Mandarin speaking Asians. In March 2000, he moved to NJ and joined Rutgers Community Christian Church (RCCC), where he served as a cell group leader and a teacher at Chinese Adult Sunday School programs. He was also one of the first 3 graduates from RCCC Bible College training program. In August 2005, he moved to Massachusetts due to his job change and joined CBCGB. He has served at Chinese Adult Sunday School as a teacher and chaired Chinese Adult Sunday School for 8 years since 2009. In addition to his job in electrical engineering, Paul had been also a part time student at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He received a Master of Art in Christian Study in December 2020. He is hoping to apply his learnings to CBCGB Spiritual Formation Ministry. Paul and his wife, Joyce, have two boys and a girl, who are Samuel, Prisca, and Timothy.

     

  • Jiyong Wang

    Brother Jiyong Wang accepted Jesus Christ as his own Savior in the beginning of 1995 and from 1994 he joined the student fellowships in both Peking and Qinghua Universities in Beijing. Ji-yong attended the MIT Chinese Christian Fellowship and Boston Chinese Evangelical Church (BCEC) after he came to US in August, 1995. Ji-yong, together with his wife Haiyan, was baptized in September, 1996 at BCEC. In 2005, he and his wife became church members after they started attending worship at CBCGB in 1997. He co-founded, participated and served in the Chinese student fellowship at MIT (MITCEF) in 1995 and until today. During the years 2007-2010, he became the church deacon and was in charge of organizing the CBCGB Chinese Evangelistic Meeting and Spiritual Revival Camp. He also taught in the adult Sunday School (Zion Fellowship) and Chinese School. In 2012-2015, and 2017 of his deaconship, Ji-yong was the treasurer of the church. In 2018, Ji-yong is the head deacon of Board of Deacon. Ji-yong is a R&D scientist/engineer in the field of ultrasound in GE (in 2017 the GE Oil and Gas was renamed as Baker Hughes, a GE Company – BHGE). He and his wife Haiyan have a daughter Hannah and a son Matthew.

     

  • Ruike Wang

    Brother Ruike Wang was born in Liaoning, China and moved to America in 1986. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While a graduate student, he started to attend church with his wife Ling. In 1999, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized at the Rochester Chinese Christian Church in New York. Ruike and his family moved to Boston in 2003 and started attending CBCGB. He has served as a Sunday School Teacher in the Children Ministry and the Chinese Adult Ministry. Ruike helped found the ESL program at CBCGB in 2004 and has been serving on the Missions Committee for the last 6 years. From 2006 to 2009 and from 2011 to 2014, he served on the Board of Deacons and was the chair of the Board of Deacons for two years. Ruike and Ling are part of the Lexington Central Fellowship and are mentors to the Grace Fellowship. Ruike is a senior research engineer at Procter & Gamble. He and his wife Ling have two daughters, Ann and Susan. In his spare time, he likes to read and listen to music.
