- Born in Hong Kong, Joseph Yu (余文藻) came to the US after graduating from high school. He completed his
undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley and graduate study at Carnegie Mellon University.
After 40+ years of employment at Raytheon Company, where he performed advanced radar development work,
he retired from the company in 2015 with the title of Principal Engineering Fellow. Long a member of the Chinese Bible
Church of Greater Boston, he teaches in its children Sunday School and is active in its Fruit of the Spirit Fellowship (靈果粵語團契).
